ADMINISTRATION BOARD

ASPETE is supervised by the Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning & Religious Affairs and administered by a 7-member Administration Board. The present Administration Board of ASPETE consists of the following members:

John Chrysoulakis, Professor at TEI of Athens, President
Georgios Typas, Councilor at the Pedagogical Institute, Vice-President
Georgios Moustakas, President of ETE, Member
George Alexis, Associate Professor at TEI of Piraeus, Member
Panagiotis Asteris, Assistant Professor at ASPETE, Member
Argyrios Argyriou, Head of the 1st General Lyceum of Elefsina, Member
Dimitrios Kehagias, Associate Professor at TEI of Athens, Member

The Administration Board holds regular meetings, which may be attended by (i) a teacher union representative and (ii) a student union representative, who, however, do not have a voting right.

Directly accountable to the Administration Board are:

• The Special Account for Research Grants. ASPETE's Special Account supervises (i) the Liaison Office,(ii) the Erasmus Office .
• The Legal Service
• The Public & International Relations Office.

BODIES OF ACADEMIC DEPARTMENTS

ASPETE's Academic Departments are run by their Departmental Councils, which are presided by their Department Head. Each Departmental Council comprises three Members of the Department's Academic Staff and a Student Union Representative.
