ASPETE's Library is a reference library with borrowing facilities. The Library's primary aim is to maintain and develop resources and services in support of the present and future teaching, learning and research needs of ASPETE, and of the national scholarly community, in general. Its resources are intended to be available

• firstly to students and staff of ASPETE
• also, to visitors who undertake studies elsewhere

ASPETE's Library has over 30.500 volumes, including books and periodicals, held in stacks. Borrowing privileges are restricted to the Library's members and are permitted only on production of a current member's card. The card can be obtained or renewed in person at the Library.

ASPETE's Library is also a gateway to electronic resources. It includes access to a large number of bibliographic, full-text and title databases, held locally and on the internet. These databases cover most subject areas in the Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences and Sciences.
